Yes, a satin lacquered finish is suitable for both indoor and outdoor showers. We apply multiple layers of hard-wearing lacquer to minimise tarnish.
Yes, high polish copper and brass finishes are safe for use in drinking water applications.
No, once an item has been coated in a protective lacquer, it no longer retains the naturally anti-bacterial properties of natural copper and brass.
Yes, our copper and brass high polish finishes are coated in multiple coats of marine-grade, hardwearing lacquer. This helps protect the copper or brass from tarnish and gradual wear. We do however suggest avoid using abrasive cleaning cloths on items to prevent the possibility of scratching away this protective coating.
