Our online store is hosted by Shopify Inc., which provides the e-commerce platform enabling us to sell our products and services globally.

2. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By accessing our website or placing an order, you confirm that:

• You are at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction, and
• You agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and Returns & Refunds Policy.

If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.

3. PRODUCTS & MADE-TO-ORDER NATURE

Many of our products are handcrafted and made to order.

• Lead times vary and are stated on product pages or confirmed after purchase
• Minor variations in finish, patina, tone, or texture are inherent to handcrafted copper and brass and are not defects

Product images are illustrative. We make every effort to display colours and finishes accurately, but screen variations may occur.

4. PRICING, VAT & TAXES

• Prices are displayed in GBP unless otherwise stated
• UK orders include VAT where applicable
• International orders may exclude VAT or local taxes depending on destination

Customers outside the UK are responsible for:

• Import duties
• Local taxes
• Customs clearance fees

These are not included in product or shipping prices unless explicitly stated.

We reserve the right to change prices at any time without notice. Price changes do not affect orders already confirmed.

5. ORDERS & PAYMENT

We reserve the right to:

• Refuse or cancel any order
• Limit quantities per customer or destination
• Cancel orders suspected of fraud or resale activity

If an order is cancelled, any payment received will be refunded in full.

Accepted payment methods are displayed at checkout and may vary by country.

6. SHIPPING & DELIVERY

Shipping times are estimates, not guarantees.

Delays may occur due to:

• Customs processing
• Courier delays
• Weather or logistical issues

We are not responsible for delays once an order has left our workshop.

Risk of loss passes to you once the order is handed to the carrier.

7. RETURNS, CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

Our Returns & Refunds Policy forms part of these Terms.

Key points:

• Non-bespoke items may be returned within 30 days
• Bespoke / custom items are non-returnable unless faulty
• Cancellation requests must be made within 24 hours of purchase
• Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the item is faulty

8. PRODUCT WARRANTIES

Our products are built to last and are supported by warranties ranging from 3 to 5 years, depending on the product.

• Warranty details are listed on individual product pages
• Warranties cover manufacturing defects only
• Normal wear, patination, misuse, improper installation, or environmental damage are excluded

This warranty does not affect your statutory consumer rights.

9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content on this website — including designs, photography, text, branding, and trademarks — is owned by or licensed to Proper Copper Design.

You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, or exploit any content without written permission.

10. USER CONDUCT

You agree not to:

• Use the site for unlawful purposes
• Upload malicious code
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems
• Misrepresent your identity or intentions

We reserve the right to terminate access for violations.
