We had a fantastically smooth running and successful show at the 25th Anniversary of 100% Design Show this September. It was a proud moment for all of our team to see the stand up and running and get such positive feedback from industry professionals.
Our entire display was designed and handcrafted by our team back in the Brighton workshop, from the matt black handle-board display to the beautifully executed catalogues, each element of the stand had been carefully prepared and we were very pleased with the result.
We created 4 focal points for the show ; an industrial wall with running copper showers, a Moroccan inspired bathroom scene, a copper information plinth and handle display wall.
Passers by were drawn to the running water of the shower displays as they circulated cleverly, water running into the shower tray and jetting back out of the shower, the faux cement wall with jungle hanging plants was styled as if from an reclaimed warehouse space.
These pure copper showers are unique because they are created using handcrafted copper shower heads and pressed hand held shower fittings for easy use.
These showers are available in natural copper finishes which is perfect for outdoor use as it does not rust or satin lacquered which will keep it's shine for years to come. The matt black handle display board was a perfect photo opportunity and it worked just how we had hoped to show the vast variety of handle shapes and colourful patinas that we have on offer in contrast to the deep black drawers.
Our newly released handles on these boards were our traditional pulls with textures such as hammered and planished.
Our statement verdigris basin unit was set in a Moroccan styled bathroom scene with terracotta coloured walls, the finish took weeks of careful ageing to reach this beautiful turquoise tone and has been lacquered to last. This basin unit was also a fully working water feature at the show, with the calming sound of trickling water.
Each member of our team worked on the stand and enjoyed discussing our making processes and the many health benefits and wonderful finishes that copper has to offer. We enjoyed the 25th Anniversary party on Thursday night mingling with our neighbours in the Emerging brands sector. It is an opportunity for us to come together and celebrate this years successes. On a plinth in the centre of our stand we had a piece of Michigan copper ore which revolved slowly along with a list of information on how the metal is recyclable and sustainable and a great material to use in interior environments.
We are thankful to the numerous visitors to our stand and we will be contacting industry professionals with our neat finishes tiles box, catalogues and price-lists this week.
